Veterinarian — Wellness Clinic & Community Medicine
We are seeking a veterinarian to lead our low-cost wellness clinic — the preventive care side of our mission. This role focuses on exams, vaccinations, and client education rather than surgery, helping families protect the pets they love before illness creates hardship.
The ideal candidate enjoys client interaction, values accessible care, and is committed to mentoring support staff.
What You'll Do
- Lead low-cost wellness and vaccine clinics: exams, vaccinations, flea & tick prevention, heartworm testing, microchipping
- Give families the time and patience to ask questions and understand their pets' care
- Maintain accurate and compliant medical records
- Mentor and train veterinary assistants in patient care and clinic workflow
- Collaborate with leadership to grow wellness clinic capacity and access
Work environment: The wellness clinic is a fast-moving community clinic serving families who often have nowhere else to go — team-based, warm, and focused on making preventive care accessible to everyone.
Schedule, Compensation & Benefits
- $120,000–$160,000 per year, based on experience
- Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM — no weekends, no after-hours emergency care
- Sign-on bonus available, based on experience and commitment

Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent degree required
- Active Indiana veterinary license, or ability to obtain
- Experience in high-volume or community practice preferred, but not required
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in a structured, team-oriented environment
- Interest in teaching and developing support staff
