COVID Response

Safety Precautions

Pets Alive has taken multiple safety precautions to protect our clients, patients and staff during the global pandemic.

We have implemented more frequent cleaning of high traffic areas including the front desk and doorknobs. Electronic submission of paperwork helps to minimize contact and we are limiting the number of people inside the clinic at one time. No public restrooms are available. You’ll find multiple hand sanitizing stations, a socially distant lobby layout and plexiglass across our front desk.

Stay safe and thank you for your cooperation!

Want to help?

Pets Alive is gratefully accepting donations of disinfecting wipes, paper towels and hand sanitizer!

Thank you for being a #GameChanger with us as we continue to serve our community.

April 1, 2022 Update

Currently masks are welcomed and encouraged but not required at Pets Alive. If you would like a mask when you arrive, please let our staff know!

Wednesday, August 4th Update

This morning, the Monroe County Board of Commissioners approved a new Health Order and Regulation from the Monroe County Health Department that states masks will be required in all indoor, public places regardless of vaccination status. This step is due to “the sharp increase in COVID-19 cases, positivity rate, the Delta variant, and new CDC guidance.”

Thank you for doing your part to keep our community safe and Pets Alive’s doors open!

Tuesday, June 1st (2021) Update

Pets Alive is still requiring masks inside our building for everyone’s safety. If you arrive and need a mask, let our front desk staff know and we’ll provide you with one. Thank you for your cooperation.

Sunday, December 6th Update

We look forward to seeing everyone when we reopen tomorrow morning, Monday Dec. 7th! For the remainder of 2020, we plan to be open during our standard hours (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday-Thursday). Thank you for your patience as we navigate this challenging time keeping health and safety a top priority.

Sunday, November 29th (2020) Update

Like many small businesses and nonprofits, we have recently had a staff member test positive for COVID. In order to be proactive while doing our best to keep everyone safe, we will be closed this week.

Our plan is to reopen on Monday, December 7 at 8:00am.

We are still booked solid for spay/neuter surgeries through the end of the year, so please be patient with us as we do our best to navigate this challenging time. You can still book an appointment for our Wellness Clinic online! We have appointments available through December 17.

We look forward to connecting with you after we reopen. We are so grateful for our community’s support. What a year it’s been!

Take good care and stay safe.
